The Natural Cure For Acne Exposed

Natural Cure For AcneDid you know that there is a natural cure for acne that you can use to clear your skin without having to rely on conventional medicine? For hundred of years acne sufferers have used natural remedies for this skin condition. And since over 14 million Americans suffer from acne, a number of natural cures have been discovered.

If you never knew this, your skin is a protective organ for your body, acting as a barrier against germs, dirt, and toxins. Within the dermis (the inner skin layer) is a gland which secretes an oil – sebum – helping to keep your skin and hair lubricated, and naturally keeping bacteria and pollution out.

Now, when your body produces too much androgen (a male sex hormone), a lot of sebum is secreted on your skin. This causes your pores and hair follicle to become blocked, trapping in bacteria and resulting in you seeking an acne cure home remedy.

There are a variety of things you can do right now as a natural cure for acne. It starts with hydration. To clean toxins out of your body you should be getting at least 6 glasses of water a day.

Furthermore, you should be eating enough raw fruit and vegetables. Cleansing your face with an anti-bacterial face wash in the morning and evening is also a good cure for pimples. But always lather your skin softly, not to cause irritation and swelling.

Once your face is clean, you could make a natural cure for acne ointment basically by combining 3 tablespoons of honey with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. This paste is then placed on the acne infected areas for half an hour. Both cinnamon and honey have natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, helping to clean your skin.

An additional home remedy for acne is to mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with a teaspoon of cinnamon. This makes a fantastic acne cleanser, since lemon is know to remove old skin cells and even help lighten any acne blemishes.

Another natural cure for acne is to mix milk with nutmeg to reduce inflammation and help prevent further breakout.  One acne cure home remedy which people are sometime reluctant to try is to crush a clove of garlic and rub it on their acne. Garlic works by helping fight off antibodies on your skin.

Now that you know a few natural cure for acne options are available, you can try them out before relying on expensive, sometimes harmful, traditional antibiotics and treatments.

Yo Bryce. There are many diets that help; a lot. Stay away from meat. Replace it with soya products. Eat salads with raw vegetables. Stay away from too much Glucose, sodas etc. Drink water instead of ANYTHING. Alcohol also has an effect, so avoid it, especially malts or brews. Use the above-mentioned tips along with that diet. Get exercise, wash your face with WATER as frequently as possible. Also refrain from using a lot or any medication. (Unless absolutely needed). Don’t use “skin care” products. They either trick you into buying more, or they just damage your skin. Don’t use any make-up (even just eyeliner). You should see good progress in a week or two, if you stay committed, and in a routine. I have the same problem. Mine’s not extreme, but I can’t handle having pimples.

Fresh air and the outdoors are your friend. Don’t dress for the winter in the summer. Your body needs to breathe. Apply warm water to open your pores before you use those home-made applications, and cold water afterwards, to close your pores. If you smoke, I suggest you stop. Watch your BMI. Refrain from sexual activity (ANY). And that’s about it. An ice pack should be applied from time-to-time to relax your skin, but don’t over do it. Detox teas help, but only after meals. Don’t eat more than you need. Wash your hands with sensitive soaps before you wash your face. Don’t scrub your face, and only pat-dry after you rinsed your face, to avoid irritation. Clean towels are important. Avoid getting into contact with people. (Physical). Don’t drink energy drinks AT ALL. They make it quite impossible to get clear skin. Energy supplements are to be avoided as well. On hot days, rinse your face with icy water frequently. Also note that soaps clog pores. That’s about all the advice I can give right now, except that cheeses shouldn’t be consumed, especially rich cheeses, like Blue Cheese and Brie. Good luck mate. :)
